Play Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra
The Russian Music Society and the Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra trace their roots back to 1859 - to the Imperial Russian Music Society. Created by N.G. Rubinstein, the organization was later led by Tchaikovsky, Taneev and Rakhmaninov. Re-established in 1995, the Society is now a charitable organization dedicated to keeping classical music alive and connecting the classical musicians around the world. The Society is a musical bridge between the countries and cultures bringing the best Russian, European and Eastern European classical recordings, musicians and performances to the rest of the world.
