Voted Atlanta's favorite jazz artist by Creative Loafing, Gwen Hughes has performed across the United States, Eastern Europe and North Africa for more than a decade, playing over 200 dates a year. She is an artist in residence at the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, a Governor for the Atlanta Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and a bandleader of the Retro Jazz Kats and the Continental Dance Orchestra. Her music has been placed on The Discovery Channel's "Man vs. Wild" and in several recent films.
